I like food.

Don't need to go to France to enjoy yummy macarons or Napoleon....
You can get them in Seattle!
and delicious mac&cheese with the store's handmade cheese is always a plus!
:D

Heard macarons are extremely hard to make but somehow my favorite YouTube stars make them look effortless.
Gotta try making them at one point! :D

Shout out to Sorted Food and Jenna Marbles!  I love them<3

The Young Victoria (2009)

"The park is marvelous"
"Pleased you like it. I do want you to feel quite at home.
Sure you are aware why I wished you to come here
because it would make me happier than anything,
too happy, really if, you would agree to what I wish."
"And stay with you?"
"And stay with me."
"And marry you?"
"And marry me."

Matthew Williamson S/S12 show at Tate Modern through an makeup artist's eyes

Matthew Williamson showed his S/S 2012 collection at beautiful Tate Modern Gallery, being the first ever designer to show his collection at Tate.

Last July when I was there with my study abroad class, I was mesmerized by the sheer vastness of the space and the amount of artwork that were housed in the museum.

Lisa Eldridge, the make up artist for the show and also a celebrated YouTube makeup guru, shows the backstage frenzy of the show and the beautiful work that goes into the preparation, until the last second! Can it get any better, combination of fashion + creativity + beauty?

Oh, I miss London...  Can't wait to go back and revisit Tate again.

Here I come, San Francisco!

This will become my travel tradition: dorky upload of weather report for my next destination!
I love Seattle, but glad to be leaving the rainy town for a warmer climate for the weekend...:)
Will be there 1/5-1/8
See you KSEA fellows! :)

What would McQueen do?

I came across this video and it reminded me of the moment when I saw Kate Middleton's wedding dress displayed in Buckingham Palace.

They also had a short interview by Sarah Burton, the designer of the dress, explaining the design and production of the dress- which was just incredible!

How do you overcome the pressure when you are preceded by a legendary designer whose sudden death was much of a scandal and remorse, and you are commissioned to design a future queen's wedding dress, as a representative of British culture and pride?

The product was not something everyone can pull off, but it suit Kate and the image of the royal family.

What a magical moment Kate AND the designer must have had!
